Beach Overview
Named after its distinctive black limestone rock formations, Black Rock is a scenic coastal attraction located about 12 km north of Hut Bay Jetty by road, near Butler Bay Beach. During high tide, the surrounding rocks form a mini swimming pool, while the rocky headland offers panoramic ocean views at low tide.

- Sea Snakes: Poisonous; recognized by paddle-like tail. Stay away from them.
- Stone Fish: Venomous dorsal spines. Wear sturdy sandals, avoid stepping on corals or rocks.
- Salt Water Crocodiles: Found in creeks, mangroves, and sheltered waters. Get ashore if spotted and alert authorities.
