The ideal time to visit Andaman and Nicobar is from October to May, when the weather is dry and the skies are clear. Within this window, November to March offers the most pleasant conditions for beach activities and sightseeing. During this tourist season, Baludera Beach remains calm with warm temperatures, clear water, and minimal rainfall, making it perfect for an Andaman and Nicobar trip. If you want to visit Andaman and Nicobar and still avoid peak crowds, consider late October, early November, or February–March.
Tropical climate with temperatures ranging from 24°C to 32°C year-round.
From Sri Vijaya Puram, the first step is to reach Baratang Jetty (also known regionally as Nilambar Jetty). You can take a ferry service from Sri Vijaya Puram to Baratang Island. Alternatively, you can hire a private taxi or take a bus from Sri Vijaya Puram to Baratang, which also marks the start of your Andaman Nicobar trip. From Baratang Jetty, Baludera Beach is around 9–10 km by road towards the eastern side. Public government buses and shared taxis operate from the jetty, but schedules can be limited. For flexibility, most travellers prefer to hire a local taxi for a round‑trip outing that also covers other nearby beaches/attractions.
