Sitapur Beach, popularly known as Sunrise Beach, is located at the eastern tip of Neil Island (Shaheed Dweep). It is one of the most scenic and tranquil beaches, famous for its breathtaking sunrise views. Lined with tall palm trees, limestone formations, and open sea horizons, Sitapur offers a peaceful escape away from the crowds. While swimming is not ideal due to strong currents and rocky seabed, the beach is perfect for enjoying nature’s raw beauty and early morning photography.
How to Reach
By Air
Fly to Veer Savarkar International Airport, Port Blair. From there, take a ferry to Havelock Island (2-3 hours). The beach is 12km from Havelock jetty.
