Overview

Mount Manipur, formerly known as Mount Harriet, is the third-highest peak in the Andaman Islands and a part of Mount Manipur National Park in South Andaman. The peak is famous for its breathtaking panoramic views, lush greenery, and historical significance, as it was a former summer retreat during the British colonial period.

The mountain was renamed in 2021 to Mount Manipur to honor the freedom fighters of Manipur who were exiled to the Andamans during the colonial era. It offers a perfect blend of nature, history, and trekking adventure.
