The island is part of the Mahatma Gandhi Marine National Park’s northern coral belt, and its restricted access helps preserve its fragile ecosystem. Only authorized tour operators can take visitors here.

Approximately 145 km from Port Blair, requiring a boat transfer of 4–5 hours (usually via private/ferry arrangements).
